The weekend is finally here! Shannon and Mark are tying the knot! These two met in Detroit when Mark was on duty and the rest was history. I love how Detroit details they are including in their special day. There two are seriously the sweetest and I've never had a group of wedding vendors so excited to see their wedding day come together. Here are a few of their epic engagement photo's taken by Lars at Detroit Photo Company.

Caitlyn and Scott's gorgeous lakefront wedding had a fresh, feminine color palette of blush, ivory and navy. Their classic Michigan waterfront wedding took place at Bay Pointe Inn in Shelbyville. Every detail from flowers to the bar sign was a glimpse of the couples fun personalities. I had an incredibly hard time narrowing down the photo's taken by the talented Weddings by Adrienne & Amber. We had so much fun working with Caitlyn! She is a school teacher turned successful realtor agent , buying and selling home with The Perna Team, Keller Williams Realty team!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but how do you find time to get those wedding to-do’s checked off your list between holiday parties and wrapping presents? Here a few easy steps to make the holidays less stressful.
2. Guest list- Use your holiday card list as a starting point for your wedding invites or even guest list. Make a note of which addresses you’re missing and at family gatherings ask for the ones you need.
3. Hair and makeup trial run- Schedule a trial run for hair and makeup on a day you have a holiday party! So many brides schedule a trial of their hair and makeup styles for the big day, but few plan what they’ll do after they get all dolled up. Don’t waste that gorg updo on a trip to the grocery store or house chores!
4. Plan for rest and relaxation- It’s your first time enjoying the holidays as an engaged couple! Seasonal stress, wedding planning and your busy schedule you may be feeling run down and sick. Set time set aside time in your to relax with your partner and loved ones.
